Thomas Kornya

Tom Kornya is President of Kilmer Group’s principal holding company, Kilmer Van Nostrand Co. Limited, a multi-generational enterprise with a long history of business development and investment.

As President, Kornya is responsible for the management, oversight and strategic direction of Kilmer’s interests in sports and media, private capital investments and real estate and infrastructure. He also serves as Vice Chair of Kilmer Capital Partners Limited and sits on the boards of numerous Kilmer investments, including Coca Cola Canada Bottling Limited, Brunswick Lift Rental Limited, Kilmer Sports Ventures, the Tempo Basketball Club and the Larry and Judy Tanenbaum Family Foundation.

Prior to joining Kilmer, Kornya spent two decades in senior executive positions at Ernst & Young LLP, notably as Americas Deputy Vice Chair, Assurance. He advised the firm’s largest global clients across various industries, including private, public, and government sectors, on capital markets activities, navigating regulatory environments and driving organizational success in complex and dynamic markets.

Kornya is a Certified Professional Accountant, CPA, Fellow (FCPA) and serves as a Board Member for Sinai Health, contributing his insights and leadership to advance healthcare in Ontario. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario.
