Kilmer Capital Fund I and II

Kilmer Capital Fund I and II are private equity investment funds run by experienced investors and business operators dedicated to building preeminent companies in partnership with management. The funds provide equity capital to small and mid-market companies seeking financing for expansion, acquisitions, management buyouts, leveraged buyouts, restructurings, recapitalizations and privatizations.

The objective of the Funds is to achieve long-term capital appreciation through actively managed investments in a diversified portfolio of small to mid-capitalization private companies and other business entities based principally in Canada.

Kilmer Capital was established to follow Kilmer Van Nostrand Co. Limited's (its Sponsor) successful investment strategy to maximize returns by investing in those situations where it can increase value as a hands-on, active, catalyst investor working closely with the operating management in the growth and development of a company rather than solely as a financial partner.

Kilmer Capital Partners is headquartered in Toronto with an office in Montreal.

Kilmer Brownfield Equity Fund

Kilmer Brownfield Equity Fund

Kilmer Brownfield Equity Fund is a private equity investment fund run by experienced environmental and financial specialists dedicated to creating value for investors through the clean-up and reactivation of environmentally-impaired "Brownfield" properties in Canada.

Brownfields are abandoned, idled, or underused industrial and commercial facilities where expansion or redevelopment is complicated by real or perceived environmental contamination. It is estimated that there are between 30,000 and 100,000 brownfield sites in Canada, located in every major industrialized city.

The brownfield redevelopment process consists of the remediation or clean-up of the site, and often the rezoning of the site to a higher and better use. Once the site is redeveloped, the Fund will sell it to an end-user, who will complete the revitalization by building out the site.

Brownfield redevelopment is an important component of sustainable development, which is a key tenet of socially responsible investing. Through its activities, the Kilmer Brownfield Equity Fund will generate "Triple Bottom Line" benefits to Canadian communities: social, environmental and economic benefits.
