The Fund's management team has specialists from the key disciplines required for successful brownfield investing: environmental risk management, real estate planning and development and finance. Successful redevelopment strategies arise from the dialogue between these disciplines and are constantly refined through an iterative approach.
KENNETH TANENBAUM PRESIDENT AND MANAGING PARTNER
Ken is the management team's leader and oversees the strategic direction of the Fund. Ken brings senior construction industry leadership, corporate finance and project management experience to the Fund.
Ken is Executive Vice President of Kilmer Van Nostrand Co. Limited (KVN), the Fund's lead sponsor, where he is responsible for real estate and infrastructure investments. Ken is KVN's principal representative within the group and is the Fund management's representative on the Investment Committee, where he has influence on which investment projects the Fund ultimately undertakes.
Ken has led a distinguished career in the construction and building materials industry, where among other things, he gained first-hand experience with brownfield redevelopment issues. Before joining KVN, Ken was Executive Vice President of The Warren Paving and Materials Group, Vice President Business Development of Lafarge North America and President of Innocon Inc.
Ken holds a B.Sc. in economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Ken is an active member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) and was recognized as one of Canada's "Top 40 under 40" in 2001. Ken also has a number of community service appointments.

DAVID HARPER, M.Sc., P.Geo. MANAGING PARTNER, ENVIRONMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT
David is responsible for environmental risk management within the team.
David is a highly-regarded expert in the brownfield industry in Canada. He brings outstanding scientific credentials and career experience to manage risk and maximize value from brownfield redevelopment projects. David is an expert in applied environmental due diligence and in developing integrated environmental site strategies for major brownfield projects.
David was the National Brownfield Practice Leader and Manager for a leading national environmental consulting firm. He is a specialist in remediation and risk management. In his thirteen year consulting career, David has consulted on over 200 brownfield projects.
David has authored numerous publications on brownfields and is a popular speaker at industry conferences. Through David's active involvement in many brownfield initiatives and leadership in the Canadian Brownfield Network (CBN), he has provided strategic advice on various topics that have encouraged policy and regulatory reforms for brownfield redevelopment in Canada. David is a Professional with the Association of Geoscientists of Ontario (P.Geo) and is recognized as a Qualified Person under Ontario's brownfield legislation.

ANDREW HIMEL, MBA, MRICS MANAGING PARTNER, FINANCE
Andrew is responsible for finance and investment issues within the team.
Andrew brings over 15 years of analytical, financial and real estate experience to the team. Prior to joining the Fund, Andrew was a real estate strategy consultant based in Hamburg, Germany, where he advised clients on a wide range of strategic real-estate investment issues.
Andrew was Finance Manager at Sony Berlin GmbH, the company responsible for the development of $1 billion Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz, one of Europe's largest reclamation projects. Other positions held include Director of New Technologies at Cinemaxx GmbH, a multiplex theatre operator, Associate at Berenberg Consult GmbH, a German private bank, and Associate at First Funding Corporation, a boutique investment bank.
Andrew holds a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Andrew is also a chartered property finance and investment surveyor and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Pamela is responsible for the planning and land development issues within the team.
Pamela has over 25 years of planning and land development experience through her previous positions as Manager for several large industrial landowners and Manager of Development with a retail commercial developer. She also has planning experience through positions at a planning consulting firm and a fast growing municipality in the Greater Toronto Area.
Pamela obtained her BES, Honours Urban & Regional Planning at the University of Waterloo and is a Registered Professional Planner and member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Association of Ontario Land Economists.
